The links in this post *weren't* written using the direct approach; that was something my students used to write their research proposals.
I suspect the "flavor" of students posts will ebb & flow as the semester continues. After the first week or so, there's usually an energy "crash" as the reality of homework sets in, the initial rush of partying wears off, and everyone starts getting sick & sleep deprived.
We'll see if folks catch their second wind!
